The starting line of any race at the Prefontaine Classic, one of the premier track and field events in the United States, is reserved for the most focused and competitive athletes. Maggie Miller excelled there and now brings that focus and drive to her work on behalf of the firm’s municipal, corporate and individual clients in civil litigation, municipal law and environmental matters in Ring Bender’s Orange County office.
Before joining Ring Bender, Maggie practiced at a firm specializing in trial practice where she gained significant jury trial experience. She represented the firm’s clients in commercial litigation, gender discrimination claims, sexual assault cases and personal injury matters.
She received her J.D. from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in Orange County, California, where she was a member of the Moot Court Competition Board. She competed in the National Moot Court Competition and the National Entertainment Law Competition. During law school, she worked at a firm which exclusively represented municipalities in civil rights, government tort claims, professional liability, medical malpractice and premises liability cases.
Maggie earned a B.S. in History from the University of Idaho, where she was full scholarship athlete in track and field and cross-country.
Maggie enjoys exploring new running trails and the outdoors, traveling around the world, and exploring new restaurants.
